Valérie Andres studied Eastern European History and Russian Language and Literature. After completing her studies she worked as a picture editor at KEYSTONE as well as in images archives (Image Archive of Ringier / Image Archive of ETH Zürich). Since 2006 she works at the library of the University of Applied Sciences in Muttenz. Since 2019 she is part of the leadership team and focuses on Open Access. In addition, she is responsible for two trainees.
